All FMR Software is affordable and priced for cash registration. I do not accept any checks if the total purchase amount is below US $ 25.00 without a handling fee, but you can send a US Postal Money Order to pay for my software if you must. If a check is the only way of payment for you, because of company policies etc., then an additional US $2.00 handling fee must be included. Check payment without the handling fee will not be accepted and an e-mail will be sent to you, reminding you on the check handling fee, if I do not get response from you within 3 business days on how to handle the issue, your check will be discarded. My Bank charges a fee for every check deposited into my account and in most cases this fee is higher then the software product price. All I am asking for is the amount to cover my bank fees, this should be understandable.
However, almost all my software is under 5 Bucks, and the fee for a Postal Money Order or a check can be in some cases more then I ask for the software. The US Postal Service is a trustworthy institution and a lost letter addressed to me hasn't occurred yet.
Why Register?
You should register if you like the software and to support the shareware system.
Many hours are spent to develop good software and patches.
By registering, you are eligible for free updates and software support if you encounter problems.
I have always made Bonus Software available for those of you who do. Bonus Software are usually additional patches to enhance related features. As an example, FinderPatch Bonus Software includes a SystemPatch for the Help and About this computer menus, also an extra goodie I won't reveal here.
Registering the software also allows me to continue to develop more software for you.
How to Register:
To register, simply choose Register under the Apple Menu in EZ-Dock. EZ-Dock build-in Register Application will walk you through the simple process. Please make sure that you have a Printer connected to your Macintosh. A Registration Form will be printed. All you have then to do is sending the printed document along with your payment to:

Definition of a software Site and World-Wide License:
FMR Software can be purchased with either a Site License or a World-Wide License.
A Site License allows anyone in the organization making the purchase, within a 160 km (100 mile) radius of the purchasing location, to use the software. This includes people from that organization location who are traveling but it does not include people with locations outside of the 160 km radius.
A World-Wide License allows anyone in the organization making the purchase, who is on the planet Earth, to use the software. An additional World-Wide License would be required for other planets. :-)
If you are not certain of the type of license you should purchase, or if you are not certain which types are available for a given product, I am suggesting to contact me via e-mail for clarification.
What about taxes?
Basically FMR Software is subject to the same tax rules as any mail order company. We do not ship anything. Fortunately, FMR Software primarily sell bits, not molecules and bits are not taxable. If FMR Software ship the bits on a floppy, the bits become molecules and thus become taxable. FMR Software sells the right to use software that a payer already has. If FMR Software delivered software on floppies, FMR Software would be selling molecules and FMR Software would need to deduct state sales tax on each sale.
FMR Software does need to deduct sales taxes under one specific situation. If the payer is in Arizona and they have purchased molecules from FMR Software, the state sales tax would need to be deducted from that sale.
